I was a member of the male drill team 87-90. I was the the XO of the drill team of 88. Became the Battalion Commander of 89. I was one of two forth year of 90. Major Craig and Sgt. Moss were the best. Wednesday was our day. Was you brass and shoes shined?

I was a member of the 89-90 drill team and class leader. Who can ever forget Major Craig or Sgt. Moss they kept it real everyday. Best of all I took it last period of the day. Just remember evrybody Wednesday wear your uniform.

Joseph Oliver, your are right about the Riffle Team. I was on the drill team during that time. Clay Nelson was our Commander. You guys won it all I know both years I was on the Drill Team. Good to see you doing well God Bless!!!!!!!!!!!! PS. Give a hello to your brother Jeff for me

I was in JROTC from 1980-1982.In those days Melrose had the #1 JROTC program in the city of Memphis.Our rifle team was the undefeated for 3 years in a row.SGT.Ben Hunt was our instructor.After JROTC I went to the Army for 6 years.I still talk to Sgt. Hunt today.

Hi everyone I was Battalion Commander my serious year 1984 under Sgt. Moss. I was suppose to go to the military after graduating and got side tracked and went academics instead and a band scholarship....sometimes I wonder...hmmmm?

Tony, it was the Queen Ann salute, where you throw the rifle up and catch the barrel over your head and slowly lower it to the ground.

Robert I was on drill team(90-92) and I was wondering were you guys doing the 21 arms salute and what kind of move was he trying to show because come to think of it he was going to show us something new but he never did he explain it to us how it went but never did show us.
Roberta does Sgt. Moss still lives here or did he leave town and find out if you can get Maj. Craig info as well. Thanks cya on 3/21/09

Alright then Chris, you really were Mr. JROTC. Sounds like you had a ton of fun. I recently spoke to Sgt. Moss and I do have his contact information if you don't have it. He was really happy to hear from me and talked a lot bout JROTC, I'm sure he would be as happy to hear from you guys as well.
