Reading everyone comments started me to reflect back on the halls and trailers of Melrose. I started Melrose in the 7th grade and what a challenge it was. I can remember Mrs. Echols working with John Gun in English, like it was yesterday. It is amazing how times have changed but we still have memories. Class of 1974 love you all, and be blessed.

It' s was a shock to see that many students in one building. Coming from a elem. campus straight to the "Den" we all being young saw so much on that campus at that time. It 's a blessing just to been apart of that, We know we love our School.Went 7th -12 85-90.

Hello all, I can remember so clearly, entering the 7th grade at the almighty Melrose High School. Although all the years I spent at Melrose were wonderful, Jr. High School was the best time ever.

As I can remember, I was the only ASIAN gal in the GOLDEN WILDCAT house at the time and I was scared as H*!!, but you guys accepted to be a part of the FAMILY. Thanks guys>> ;-)

Hey Melrose Golden Wildcats Marching Band. I remember when Mr. A. D. Cox was going to pull me from being a majorette so I could play the drums. I begged him not to. The reason was he seen a young lady that looked like me at Westwood beating the sh_ _ out of the drums. Who ever knew him know he cursed us out everday. I went to his 60th B-DAY Party last week. It was nice. He told me he looked at some old VHS tapes. He is going to make me a copy. If I can I will download us Golden Wildcats.

Yes! I can remember it so well! Going from a scary 7th grader to a Sensational Senior, all in the same building. No Airways Jr. High nor Sherwood. Maroon & Gold all the way!
