GO HUG YOUR "MICHAEL"

Go and hug your "Michael" by Maya Angelou...

Yesterday I cried watching the Michael Jackson memorial. I cried for a
little black boy who felt the world didn't understand him. I cried for a little
black boy who spent his adulthood chasing his childhood. And I thought
about all the young black boys out there who may too feel that the world
doesn't understand them. The ones who feel that the world does not understand
their baggy jeans, their swagger, their music, their anger, their struggles,

I AM CHANGING

I’ am Changing
Neville B. Joseph™

I still hear the voices, still make bad choices and all the while I’ am changing.

Changing day by day, not listening to what they say,
For I’ am certain to change.

Changing the things that keeps me down,
Tired of being the talk of the town.

USED vs LOVED

While a man was polishing his new car, his 4 yr old son picked up stone
and
scratched lines on the side of the car. In anger, the man
took the child's hand and hit it many times; not realizing he was using
a wrench.
At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple

will my fingers grow back?' The man was so hurt and speechless;
he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times.
Devastated by his o… Continue

ADDICTED TO WRONG

By Neville B. Joseph™

Addicted to wrong is the name of this song.

No matter what I do, I always come back to you.

Years of fighting this battle, here I ‘am right back in the saddle.

Trying to do what’s right is always an upward fight.
A fight that I never win, from when my day begins.

If all I do is end up back with you,
Then what hope do I have to live right if you’re always in my sight.

I try to pull away, I always say, may tomorrow be a better day.

When you come by late at night,

Mighty fine advise in these words

ONE. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.

TWO. Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their
conversational skills will be as important as any other.

THREE. Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you
want.

FOUR. When you say, 'I love you,' mean it.

FIVE. When you say, 'I'm sorry,' look the person in the eye

SIX.. Be engaged at least six months before you get married.

SEVEN. Believe in love at first sight.

EIGHT. Never laugh at anyon… Continue
