- I graduated as a junior from Melrose and attended UT Knoxville for two yeas. While there, I pledged DELTA SIGMA THETA SORORITY. I graduated from Memphis State University with a BA in Broadcast Journalism. I married Michael Buford (BTW) in 1982. We have one son (Justin) and I have two step-daughters (Felicia and Tamara). We currently have two dogs (Chase and Cody). We have lived and worked in Memphis, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Orlando and now Charlotte. I currently work for NBC National News as a producer.
