I was in the Greatest Band in Memphis. I was a Charmette, member of Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, and French Club.

Born and raised in Orange Mound, I learned a lot about working hard and striving for success. I went to "Hanley High" and after the 6th grade I started my journey at Melrose. I felt love, pain, confusion, anger, happiness, success, failure, grief, but most of all pride throughout my years at Melrose (all five years). I don't regret it. I just learned from it. After graduating, I attended Memphis State to pursue my career in Accounting. Mid-stride, I decided to change my major to Education. Remember this is all apart of growing up! During that time, I married my high school sweetheart, Antonio. We have now been married for 12 years and no we don't have any children as of yet. After graduating from Memphis, I became a teacher and I have been teaching now for eight years. God has been good to us. I can't complain about the things I have gone through because it has all worked out for my good. Being at Melrose has been a great part of my learning experience.

Personal Interests (N/A is not a response)

My personal interests include reading the Word of God, attending church, enjoying life with my husband, and fellowshipping with family and friends. Some of the activities I like to do are bowling, fishing, going to the race track and watching games with Tonio, traveling, shopping, watching TV, reading, singing, working in the church, helping the young people, volunteering my time, and anything the Lord leads me to do.
