I’ am Changing

I still hear the voices, still make bad choices and all the while I’ am changing.

Changing day by day, not listening to what they say,
For I’ am certain to change.

Changing the things that keeps me down,
Tired of being the talk of the town.

The change that I’ am making comes very slowly,
But if I Relinquish my past I just may become Holy.

Changing is a daily fight, for I often substitute wrong for right.

You sit and you judge me and you never wish me well,
You just sit and remind me of the time I fell.

Look at me closely and then you will see,
That I’m not changing for you, I’m changing for me.
