James "Moochie" Wilson OM Veteran R.I.P. - Funeral Arrangements

The Family has provided me with the following on the Services:
Funeral is Saturday, June 27th at 12 noon
Mt. Moriah East Baptist Church on Haynes

The Alumni would like to extend our condolences to the family of James Moochie Wilson. He passed away on Saturday Morning, June 20, 2009.

If you knew Moochie, you know he was always smiling and will always be a true Orange Mound Veteran. The Wilson family has lost a wonderful love one. We want to pray for the family and ask God to keep them all unified during this time of mourning.

In this photo he was arriving at the Melrose Family Day Picnic 09 hosted by the IM's and Charmettes.

Thanks to Anthony (Pee Wee) Harden for providing the photo!

It is always sad to lose someone you love and sadder still to lose someone without warning. No man knows the day or the hour that God will call him home. People get ready. Give your loved ones flowers while they are living. I don't want anyone who loved me standing over my remains talking about I woulda, shoulda, coulda. Tell them now. Live your life w/o regrets and love without regrets. I extend my sincere condolences and heartfelt prayers to Moochie's family and and friends. Peace and Blessings.

I grew up with Moochie back in Kimball Cabana and Haynes where his family lived. We were young boys (Reginald Johnson, Larose Aldridge, and Moochie) stealing bikes from Germantown bringing them back to the Mound and making money with comission going to Tic-Tic. He had the same care free spirit then and now; and was always in the best mood despite the odds. He labeled all of the cool IM's as the cool Phi Psi Preps!!!! He will be missed, but never forgotten. Now this is the Leviticus with the Jerri Curl speaking from 1984 who's remembering his childhood friend and I do mean FRIEND!!!!!

Everyone, about two weeks ago Moochie came to me and asked me to help him with a spiritual direction and to help him gain a new identity. Well Moochie God has given you the best Identity of all, a place where you can be free and next to him... Great shot Pee Wee, Moochie was just being Moochie on that shot.. lol Apostle Casey Allen,PhD....

Moochie "Black Man Wilson" you will truley be missed!! May peace and strength be upon the family during this time of sorrow. Moochie would'nt have wanted any of us to be sad, because when you saw him he was always laughing or making someone else laugh. So Wilson & West family hold your head up and look to the hills for which all of our strenght comes from.

Moochie, RIP!!!!!! From your sista-in-law Karen!!!!!
